Optical Express is located on the first floor of The Exchange on St. John Street in Chester city centre. This clinic provides eye services like examinations, contact lens fittings and laser eye surgery consultation. The clinic is located only 3 miles from the M53. Exit at junction 12 and at the roundabout take the exit for A56 (W) Chester and follow signs for the city centre.
Turn right off Hoole Way roundabout following signs for city centre parking along St Oswalds Way. Head straight through the next roundabout along St Martin’s Way until you come to the roundabout at Chester Magistrates Court. Take the first exit signposted for Grosvenor shopping centre along Grosvenor Street/ Pepper Street. Just before the archway, turn left into Grosvenor Shopping Centre car park.
The clinic is only a 5 minute walk past the archway. Turn left up St John Street and the clinic can be found on your right hand side next to Pizza Express.

Parking
The closest car park is located in Grosvenor shopping centre, a 5 minute walk from the clinic. There are also many parking spaces available around Chester city centre on a pay and display basis, including the short stay car park on Princess Street, across from The Forum shopping centre.
By Train
Chester train station is a 5 minute drive from the clinic. There is a taxi rank and several bus stops outside of the station serving the city centre.
By Bus
There are regular services into Chester from surrounding areas to the bus station located behind Chester Town Hall on Princess Street. At the end of Princess Street head south on Northgate Street turning left onto East gate Street at the end. Take a right after the archway on to St John Street and the clinic is near the end of the street next to Pizza Express. Buses to local areas stop directly outside of the clinic.
